  • Restart your device

Premium sessions are device-specific and cannot be transferred once activated.

If access does not activate after these steps, contact support with:

  • Your email address used during purchase

  • Time of transaction

  • Screenshot of confirmation (if available)

Premium WiFi provides access for 24 hours from the moment your session is activated.

The 24-hour access period runs continuously and will expire automatically at the end of that period, regardless of how much the service has been used.

Access time cannot be paused, extended or transferred to another device once activated.

If you experience technical difficulties during your access period, please contact support as soon as possible so we can assist.

WiFi performance can vary depending on:

  • Your distance from an access point

  • Physical obstructions

  • Device capability

For best performance:

  • Stay within main public areas

  • Avoid enclosed or shielded spaces

  • Ensure no large downloads are running in the background

If you believe there is a technical issue with the network itself, please report your location so we can investigate.

Refund & Billing Policy

Premium WiFi is a digital access service that is delivered immediately upon successful payment authorisation.

Access begins at activation and provides 24 consecutive hours of service. The 24-hour access period runs continuously and cannot be paused, suspended or extended. Access expires automatically at the end of the 24-hour period, regardless of usage time, inactivity, or temporary disconnection.

Because the service is delivered immediately upon activation, refunds are not provided once access has been successfully activated and made available.

Refunds are not issued for:

  • Partial use of the service

  • Early disconnection

  • Network congestion

  • Reduced speeds

  • Temporary interruptions

  • Device-specific issues

  • Incorrect network selection

  • User configuration issues

  • Environmental signal variation

Refunds will only be considered where a verified technical fault within GETWIFED Inc.’s core network infrastructure prevented activation of the purchased service.

Duplicate purchases made on the same device within the same 24-hour period may be reviewed at our discretion if reported within 24 hours of the transaction.

Premium Wi-Fi Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to the Premium Wi-Fi Service provided at Nassau Cruise Port. By purchasing or using Premium Wi-Fi, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

1. Service Provider

The Premium Wi-Fi service at Nassau Cruise Port is operated by GETWIFED Inc. in partnership with Nassau Cruise Port Ltd.

2. Premium Wi-Fi Service Description

Premium Wi-Fi provides prioritised access to the port’s wireless network, offering higher speed limits and extended session availability compared to the complimentary service.

The Premium service is provided on a best-efforts basis. While prioritisation is applied, specific speeds, latency, uninterrupted access, or performance levels are not guaranteed and may vary due to:

  • Network congestion
  • Number of concurrent users
  • Physical location within the port
  • Device capability and configuration
  • Technical, environmental, or structural factors

Premium access applies only to the device used during purchase unless otherwise stated at sign-up.

3. Pricing, VAT and Access Duration

3.1 Charges

Premium Wi-Fi is charged at USD $5.00 per 24-hour period, including 10% Value Added Tax (VAT), in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.

Prices are clearly displayed prior to payment.

3.2 VAT Compliance

All Premium Wi-Fi services are subject to Bahamian VAT. VAT is itemised at checkout and reflected in the payment confirmation.

3.3 Access Start and Expiry

Premium Wi-Fi constitutes a digital service delivered immediately upon successful payment authorisation.

By completing a purchase, the user expressly acknowledges and agrees that:

  • Access begins immediately upon activation.
  • The service provides 24 consecutive hours of access from activation.
  • The 24-hour access period runs continuously and cannot be paused, suspended, or extended.
  • Access expires automatically at the end of the 24-hour period, regardless of usage time, inactivity, or temporary disconnection.

Once activation occurs, the right to cancel is waived to the extent permitted by applicable law.

4. Payments and Transactions

Payments are processed securely via authorised third-party payment providers (including PayPal entities operating in Panama, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or card processors).

GETWIFED Inc. does not store full card or digital wallet credentials.

Payment processing is subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant payment provider. Use of such providers does not alter the contractual relationship between the user and GETWIFED Inc.

If payment authorisation fails, Premium access will not be granted.

5. Refunds, Disputes and Chargebacks

5.1 Refund Policy

Premium Wi-Fi is a digital access service delivered immediately upon activation.

Refunds are not provided for:

  • Early disconnection
  • Network congestion
  • Reduced speeds
  • Temporary interruptions
  • Device-specific issues
  • Incorrect network selection
  • User configuration issues
  • Environmental signal variation

Refunds will not be issued once Premium access has been successfully activated and made available.

Refunds will only be considered where a verified technical fault within GETWIFED Inc.’s core network infrastructure prevented activation of the purchased service.

Duplicate purchases made on the same device within the same 24-hour period may be reviewed for adjustment at GETWIFED Inc.’s sole discretion, provided notification is made within 24 hours of transaction.

All billing matters are reviewed in accordance with these Terms.

5.2 Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Unauthorised, abusive, or unjustified chargebacks may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of access
  • Blocking of future Premium purchases
  • Submission of service usage evidence to the payment provider

GETWIFED Inc. reserves the right to dispute chargebacks where activation logs confirm that service access was successfully delivered.

6. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Premium Wi-Fi.

Users under 18 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian.

7. Fair Use and Prohibited Activities

Premium Wi-Fi is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

You must not:

  • Share, resell, or redistribute access
  • Provide connectivity to additional users or devices without authorisation
  • Circumvent network controls or usage limitations
  • Engage in unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity

GETWIFED Inc. may limit bandwidth, suspend, or terminate access where misuse or abnormal usage patterns are detected.

8. Suspension and Termination

GETWIFED Inc. may suspend or terminate Premium access immediately and without refund if:

  • These Terms are breached
  • Fraud or abuse is detected
  • Security risks arise
  • Required by law or regulatory authority
  • Network integrity or other users are impacted

No prior notice is required where immediate action is necessary.

9. Security Disclaimer

Public Wi-Fi networks carry inherent security risks.

Users are responsible for protecting their device and data, including:

  • Maintaining up-to-date software and security tools
  • Avoiding transmission of sensitive information
  • Using encrypted (HTTPS) connections

GETWIFED Inc. is not responsible for data loss, device damage, or unauthorised access resulting from use of the network.

10. Data Protection and Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Bahamas Data Protection (Privacy of Personal Information) Act, 2003, and recognised international data protection standards.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Bahamian law:

  • Premium Wi-Fi is provided without warranties of performance, speed, or availability.
  • GETWIFED Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of business, missed travel arrangements, or data loss.
  • Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Premium Wi-Fi session.

GETWIFED Inc. shall not be liable for service disruption caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to power failure, upstream internet provider outages, governmental action, port authority decisions, or force majeure events.

12. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. The version displayed on the captive portal at the time of purchase applies to that session.

Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any updates.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Bahamian courts.
